Economy and Affordability
California is unaffordable. Inflation, excessive regulations, and an unfair tax system all conspire to hurt Californians. Instead of fixing these problems, our legislature has made them worse by spending money irresponsibly, imposing requirements that make it greatly increase the cost of housing, imposing regulations that make it more difficult to maintain small businesses, as well as increase already high taxes on all Californians, including the least fortunate.
When elected, I will work towards creating a better, more inclusive economy by:
Providing greater oversight for government spending to avoid waste and fraud.
Repeal or modify harmful regulations and permitting requirements that drive up the cost of living and housing.
Cutting taxes, especially for small businesses and the working and middle class.
Encourage job creation by improving California's business climate.
